The video clip retrieves random images from Flickr.com and creates an infinite film that resembles a stream of consciousness. All the blends, motions, zooms or timeleaps are completely random. The result is stunning even though the simplicity of the project is baffling.
Flickeur works like a looped magnetic images will merge with older materials and be influenced by the older recordings’ magnetic memory, the project’s creator Mario Klingemann says.
