A new tool funded by Y Combinator that combines messaging from email, gchat and sms will soon incorporate Twitter. The service, called Chatterous emphasizes simplicity; the people you message don’t have to be members for you to use the tool. It also allows you to set up groups.
People in group accounts can also keep a track of the conversation. The tool is excellent for saving time and reaching all of your friends in one application, even at the same time. The service is also planning to include Meebo in the near future. Spam is not really a problem yet, because people signing up for the service are required to be included in an opt-in clause.
